My alarm clock rang at 6:20. I got out of bed and realized I was aching from head to toe. It was probably the four whole soccer games I had played over the weekend. I thought a nice hot shower would feel good but then realized I didnt have enough time. I dragged my tired feet to the bathroom and started to get ready.
On the way to school I realized I had gym today, playing flag football would not be fun I thought. At school I went straight to gym. I saw my friends. They were all sore and had blisters. We got ready then walked to the track. Our gym teacher told us to run twice then walk once.Ugh I'll just tell you that was not pretty. What im trying to say is always strech before physical activity. :)

ReplyDeleteNice story! I can relate to that every morning when I have to wake up at 6:00 and I feel all sore and tired from the day before. =)
ReplyDeleteAbby,
ReplyDeleteI could really 'hear' your voice in your story. I can imagine the pain you were in after four soccer games! Although, a couple of your sentences could have been longer. Such as adding more vocabulary to them. Don't forget to post a comment on my blog!

I can totally relate to that because I have gym first hour too. I think you put a message that everyone should learn in a creative topic.
ReplyDeleteYou may want to lengthen some of your sentences by putting in some more vocabulary (Agreeing with Ally).
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I really dislike having to go to school after a big tournament because I do feel sore.
Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be sure to make my sentences longer and have more descriptive words.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really good topic for a blog entry, as so many people can relate to it. I would definitely direct you to make corrections. This reads as a post on a chatroom instead of a blog entry. The writing on blogs is formal in nature, so all the rules that govern language apply. Things like lower case "I" are just not appropriate. Now one of the good things about a blog is that you have the capability to return to the text as often as you need to in order to make the necessary changes. Go through this entry and formalize the writing.
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand what you're saying. I feel that same way after basketball games. I don't play soccer but I am sure it is worse than what i think it is.
